About Us
Mina Samuels
Mina is a writer, playwright and performer, and in a previous incarnation, a litigation lawyer and human rights advocate. Her books include, Run Like A Girl 365 Days: A Practical, Personal, Inspirational Guide for Women Athletes and Run Like a Girl: How Strong Women Make Happy Lives. She has created and performed two award-winning solo shows and an ensemble play and is a certified Moment Work Teacher with Tectonic Theatre Project. Mina writes and speaks on the transformative impact of the body-mind singularity and how it nourishes our health, creativity and purpose, as well as teaching embodied theatre workshops. She resets and grounds herself on the roads or trails, running, mountain biking, cross-country skiing, doing aerial yoga, or any number of other activities. You will leave any experience of working with Mina energized and open to possibility.
Julia Sherman
Julia is a registered psychotherapist in the state of Colorado, the founder of JCS Coaching and Consulting and the creator of A Course in Conscious Communication designed specifically for our times in an effort to bring people together - even in conflict - through communication. She is an executive sales consultant whose teams have sold more than $1.6 billion in real estate. She also was a broadcast journalist who won awards for her coverage of the mass shooting at Columbine High School and the abduction of a Nebraska teenager by a fugitive on the FBI’s Top Ten Most Wanted List. Julia has spent more than a decade studying various coaching modalities, nature rites of passage and Applied Existential Psychotherapy. You can be sure that working with Julia will be deep, enriching, playful and good-spirited.
She is also the mom of an amazing 13 year old daughter and an inspiring 29 year old son and former Marine. They have an active companion in their sweet Red Heeler pup, Rylie. Recently, relocated to Jupiter, Florida, you will find them on the pickleball or basketball court, at the dog beach, exploring nature or just taking it all in.
